“You are the cutest Kitten, Larry.”
“Oh, and by the way, I’m sorry I called you Larry. I’m not very good at names. I mean, Gi named Cecilia. I would have ended up calling her Bob, or something stupid.” Liam shrugs, and pulls the sleepy kitten to his side, but it’s not forced. She wants to cuddle with Liam. “I like Larry” the kitten purs as he pets his side. Liam’s thankful for this kitten, he feels a little less alone now. If Chance couldn’t be around 24/7, at least he had Larry to keep him company. “I was going to name you Jude.. he would have been your daddy, as well” he smiled, “It would have been a little to hard to call you that though, it hurts to even talk about him. Hurts to think about him, too. Hurts to see pictures..”. Liam felt a little crazy, talking to a cat like this. The kitten pushed up against his side, and let out meows, and purrs, and Liam petted her side until she fell asleep in that spot.
He looked down to his cell phone on his bed, grabbing it, and subconsciously dialing the memorized numbers in his head- Jude’s number. He listened to his familiar voice, and smiled. He hung up, and dialed it again. His lips followed along with the recorded message. He was such a goober. He hadn’t recorded messages for him, but this time he would. After the sounds of his fiance’s voice, would follow with a beep. “I got a kitten.. I named her Larry and she sleeps a lot. It’s a stupid name.. I know. You would probably give her a beautiful name.” He looked down at his arm, “Chance kisses my arms now that you’re gone.. He- he told me you wrote him a letter.. why did you write him a letter?” he let out a deep sigh. “Tu me manques, et je suis toujours en attente pour vous de revenir. Venez à la maison..” He was cut off, a voice saying that the message was too long to send.
